Trabzonspor to return with 10 million euros offer for Onuachu
Trabzonspor will present a new offer of 10 million euros for Paul Onuachu as the Turkish Super Lig club plans to meet Premier League side, Southampton once again in the summer transfer window.
Trabzonspor wanted a permanent transfer of the 30-year-old last summer after he spent the season on loan with them, scoring 17 times in 25 appearances but Southampton rejected the paltry offer made by the Super Lig side.
With the club finding it difficult to score (12) more than they have conceded (14) so far this season in the Super Lig, languishing in 13th place with just a point above the relegation zone, the need to get a proven striker has become imperative and Onuachu tops the list of strikers they need.
According to a report in the Sabah newspaper, Trabzonspor will offer 10 million euros for the striker, including bonuses. It was stated that Onuachu will convey his desire to come to Trabzonspor to the Southampton management.
Şenol Güneş, the coach of Trabzonspor made evaluations about the transfer at the press conference he held last week.
“Onuachu has problems with his club. They didn’t give accept offers for his transfer but with his contract expiring at the end of June 2026, the club will be open to a transfer.
