Turkish giant, Fenerbahce shows interest in Ndidi

Super Lig side, Fenerbahce are the latest club to be linked with Leicester City’s Nigerian midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi, according to reports.

Ndidi was earlier tipped to follow sacked Leicester City coach, Brendan Rodgers to Scottish Premier League champions, Celtic but there has been no offer made for the 26 year old.

Ndidi has an indifferent 2022/23 season and started 19 of the 27 Premier League games he featured in, two more than he did in his first six seasons at the club.

The midfielder was voted the best tackler in the Premier League in his first full season at the club with his 138 tackles, the most made by any player that season (2017/18).

He was also the best tackler the following season with the 143 tackles he made.

Ndidi has featured 237 times for the Foxes and has scored 11 times and provided 12 assists.

As many as 192 of the 237 games, seven of the 11 goals and 10 of the 12 assists hav come in the Premier League.

Ndidi has just one year left in his contract and with the Foxes’ relegation, it is only logical that the club will be looking to sell their Nigerian import.
