UEFA Champions League campaigner, Brest makes move for Gift Orban
Gift Orban could leave Lyon this summer after another Ligue 1 side, Brest has joined the chase for the Nigerian striker.
The 22 year old has failed to deliver the goals like he did for Ghent in the second half of the 2022/23 season and first half of the 2023/24 season when he scored 32 goals in 52 appearances.
At Lyon, the club he joined in January, he has netted just thrice in three games. With the arrival of Georges Mikautadze, the Nigerian could find himself drop further in the pecking order.
According to reports, Brest, which will play in the Champions League for the first time in its history and has urgent needs in attacking positions has made contacts to bring the Nigerian to the club.
The Nigerian was bought for €12million by Lyon plus €8million in potential bonuses and a 20% profit-sharing on any transfer away from Lyon.
He signed a deal at the Municipality club until June 30, 2028.
