Valencia close to loan deal for Sadiq Umar

Struggling Real Sociedad striker, Sadiq Umar is on the verge of joining another LaLiga side, Valencia until the end of the season.

According to Spanish news outlet, Mundo Deportivo, the Nigerian, who has endured a difficult season at Aneota since he joined in September 2022. He has neither scored nor provide an assist in the 11 games he has featured for the club across all competitions this term.

Overall, he has scored just four times and provided two assists in 50 appearances to date.

Getafe was initially linked with the Nigerian but it looks like the 27 year old wants to join Valencia instead.

‘The club chosen by the Real Sociedad ’19’ is Valencia. The Kaduna native and the Valencian team have a loan agreement closed, although before that the African striker must ‘pass an exhaustive examination’,’ reports Mundo Deportivo.
