‘We want Osimhen to lead our attack in next season’s UEFA Champions League,’ says Galatasaray president, Özbek

Galatasaray President Dursun Özbek says the club’s board wants to see Victor Osimhen spearhead the team’s attack in next season’s UEFA Champions League but the ultimate decision belongs to the Nigerian.

Özbek was asked about the transfer status of Osimhen at a celebratory dinner after the club successfully defended their Super Lig title with the defeat of Kayserispor at the Rams Park on Sunday.

‘It is obvious that our fans love Osimhen very much. Osimhen is also a very good footballer, and he has a great sense of belonging to Galatasaray. Everyone wants such a footballer to be in Galatasaray.
