Yemi Daniel Olanrewaju joins Rivers United as Chief Coach

Rivers United Football Club have announced former Enyimba of Aba coach, Yemi Daniel Olanrewaju as their new chief Coach.

‘Yema’, as he is fondly called is replacing Evans Ogenyi who has left the club at the expiration of his contract.

This announcement was made via the Club’s social media pages.

‘Rivers United Football Club is delighted to announce the appointment of Yemi Daniel Olanrewaju as the new Chief Coach of the club.

‘He replaces Coach Evans Ogenyi, who has left the Pride of Rivers following the expiration of his contract.

‘Coach Yemi Daniel Olanrewaju joins our technical crew led by Technical Manager Finidi George,’ wrote the Club on social media.

Yema was Finidi George’s assistant at Enyimba when the former Super Eagles winger and coach led the Peoples Elephant to their record-extending 9th NPFL title in 2022/23 season.
