Yenagoa 10km Road Race to Chip Every Runner

Organizers of the Yenagoa City International 10km Race 2026 have announced that every registered runner will be equipped with a timing chip.

The race, scheduled for April 4, will see elite and amateur athletes from across the globe compete in Bayelsa State.

The introduction of chip timing ensures precise tracking of each runner’s performance from start to finish, aligning the competition with international standards and guaranteeing fairness and transparency across all categories.
