‘You’ll come back stronger’, Ejuke gets messages of support from Sevilla players

Sevilla players led by Kelechi Iheanacho are backing Chidera Ejuke to come back stronger from his high-grade hamstring injury he suffered in the first half of Sunday’s LaLiga match week 10 fixture between host, Barcelona and Sevilla.

Kelechi Iheanacho, Dodi Lukébakio, Nemanja Gudelj and Djibril Sow posted words of encouragement for the winger who will be out for around three months as the Nigerian is likely to undergo surgery in the coming days.

‘You’ll come back stronger, brother. I’m sure! May the Lord give you power,” Lukebakio wrote on his instagram page.

‘Come back stronger, magician,’ wrote Iheanacho while Gudelj also wrote: ‘You will come back stronger, star boy. One hundred percent with God’s desires. We are here for you.”

‘Get well soon, brother. We will be waiting for you,’ Sow added.

In addition to missing a number of LaLiga games, Ejuke will also miss Nigeria’s final two Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Benin Republic and Rwanda next month.

He willalso miss the Africa Cup of Nations final tournament which starts this December and will run through January 2025 in Morocco.
