Zhoya: ‘Grand Slam Track brings together the world’s best athletes, and that’s where I want to be—competing’
Sasha Zhoya won his first global senior title when he sped home first at the final of the Diamond League final in Brussels, Belgium to take the 110m hurdles crown and the 22 years old knows he needs to be competing with the best at the biggest stage in global track and field consistently to be able to challenge for World and Olympic titles.
The Frenchman has been signed on as one of the 48 Racers in Michael Johnson’s Grand Slam Track, the acclaimed new global home of professional track competition and a platform where the best of the best come together to push the limits of speed and endurance
Zhoya will be focusing on achieving a podium appearance in at the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo, Japan in September 2025 after finishing sixth in Budapest last year.
He says he is thrilled to be counted worthy of a place as a racer and says that is the stage he wants to be, competing for honours and prestige.
