2026 World Cup Qualifiers: Omeruo, Umar, Collins hit Super Eagles Camp in Uyo

Defenders Kenneth Omeruo and Jamilu Collins as well as forward Sadiq Umar have arrived the Super Eagles camp in Uyo ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup
qualifying game against the Crocodiles of Lesotho at the Godswill Akpabio stadium in Uyo, capital of Akwa Ibom state.

Omeruo made his 12th start in 12 Super Lig games for Kasimpasa at the weekend in their 3-4 loss to visiting Kayserispor while Collins made his 13th start in
14 Skybet Championship games for Cardiff FC in Wales.

Sadiq Umar made his third start in 11 LaLiga games when his club, Real Sociedad defeated the Nigerian’s former club, Almeria 3-1 away at the Power Horse
Stadium.

The Super Eagles trio arrived the Victor Attah International Airport, Uyo around 11am and were received by Sir John Etim, the Secretary of the Akwa Ibom
State Football Normalization Committee on behalf of the Nigeria Football Federation.

The Super Eagles camp opened Monday morning with the rest of the 23 invited players expected to arrive between today and tomorrow.

The game against Lesotho will hold on Thusday before the team travels to Zimbabwe for their second qualifying game.
