Breaking: Samuel Kalu Seals Transfer To Watford
To wear jersey number 28
Watford have confirmed the signing of Samuel Kalu from Bordeaux for a fee understood to be close to £3million.
The Nigerian has signed a three-and-a-half year deal at Vicarage Road.
He becomes the fourth new arrival of the January transfer window after Hassane Kamara, Samir and Edo Kayembe.
He is also the fifth Super Eagles player at the club after William Troost-Ekong, Emmanuel Dennis, Peter Etebo and Maduka Okoye who is on loan at Dutch Eredivise side, Sparta Rotterdam.
The winger passed a medical at London Colney last week before putting pen to paper on the contract.
The 24-year-old shares an agent with current on-loan Etebo.
He has scored ten goals and provided eight assists from 86 appearances for Bordeaux and has also represented both KAA Gent and AS Trencin.
He will wear the number 28 at Watford.
