Shooting Stars Sports club of Ibadan, 3SC, and FC Ebedei were victorious on the second matchday of the 12th Optima Energy Gold Cup played at the FC Ebedei stadium in Shagamu on Sunday.

Both clubs were forced to draws in the opening matchday, but Shooting Stars defeated Osun United 3-1 while FC Ebedei defeated new Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, side, Ikorodu City 1-0.

The Oluyole Warriors dominated the side that plays in the Nigeria National League, the second level of professional football in Nigeria.

Meanwhile, Ikechukwu Ologun scored the only goal of the match for FC Ebedei, a team that plays in the Nigeria Nationwide League, the third tier of Nigerian football.
