Boniface, Onyeka, Adeyemi make Whoscored Bundesliga Team of the Week
Two Super Eagles players, Victor Boniface and Frank Onyeka, and another Nigeria-born forward, Karim Adeyemi have been named in Whoscored team of the week for the match week three games in the German Bundesliga.

The football statistics website named Boniface who scored twice and provided an assist in Bayer Leverkusen’s 4-1 demolition of ‘Village team’ Hoffenheim in Sinsheim on Saturday was named among the three strikers in a 3-4-3 formation.
Boniface, who has been involved in three goals in a Bundesliga match for the second time – only Serhou Guirassy and Harry Kane (4 times each) have done so more often since the Nigerians move to the Bundesliga in 2023-24, is joined by Bayern Munich forward, Harry Kane who has now scored against all 18 different clubs he faced in the Bundesliga and Frankfurt striker, Omar Marmoush who netted twice in the 2-1 win at VfL Wolfsburg.
Onyeka made an outstanding debut and was praised by his coach. Whoscored also noticed his sterling performance and has named him in a four-man midfield.
Adeyemi, the Dortmund forward was also named in the squad as an offensive midfielder.
