Impressive Okoye looking to keep second clean sheet of Serie A season
Maduka Okoye has been very impressive since December last year when he made his Serie A debut, and he hugely helped in preserving Udinese’s Serie A status at the end of last season.
The Nigerian has resumed this season from where he left off last season and has been magnificent for theI Bianconeri so far this term
The 25-year-old kept his first clean sheet of the season just before the international break, in the 1-0 defeat of Cesc Fabregas’ Como. He is looking to keep his second on Monday evening when Udinese visit the Stadio Ennio Tardini to play their host, Parma.
If he does, it will be his seventh since December last year and in 25 matches in the Italian topflight.
Okoye has saved 86% of the shots he’s faced this season, placing him third behind Michele Di Gregorio (Juventus) and Zion Suzuki (Parma).
Overall, the former Watford of England and Sparta Rotterdam of Holland goalkeeper has made more saves than anyone else since the start of 2024 (72).
