Osimhen and Icardi may start together as Galatasaray host Kasımpaşa, seek record seven wins in a row

Galatasaray coach, Okan Buruk is thinking about playing a two-man attack comprising Victor Osimhen and Mauro Icardi when the reigning champion host Kenneth Omeruo’s Kasımpaşa in a Turkish Super Lig match week seven game at the at RAMS Park in Istanbul.

There has been much talk about Osimhen and Icardi forming a deadly partnership, and it was reported the Nigerian was brought on loan from Serie A side, Napoli because the coach plans playing a two-man attack.

The duo could play in a match Galatasaray will seeking a record extending seventh straight win at the start of a Turkish Super Lig season.

The yellow and red have won all six games they have played so far this season to equal a record they first set under Dutchman, Frank Rijkaard in the 2009/2010 season and could go one batter on Saturday with a record seventh win.

Osimhen will also be seeking to score his first goal for the club since he joined early September after bagging an assist in each of his first two games viz two in the Super Lig and one in the Europa League.

Omeruo’s Kasımpaşa are coming into the match seeking their second win of the season. The club has drawn three and lost two of the six games they have played so far this season.
