Rangers sympathize with Kano Pillars over near fatal road crash

Rangers International Football Club, Enugu, have expressed sympathy to management, coaches and players of Kano Pillars F.C on the involvement of their U-19 team in a near-fatal motor accident on their way to Jos for an NPFL Youth league fixture.

Kano Pillars issued a statement confirming the unfortunate incident and revealed ‘several players and the driver sustained injuries in the unfortunate incident and have been promptly taken to the hospital for medical attention. Thankfully, no fatalities have been reported at this time, and the medical team is closely monitoring the situation.’

In a statement by the G.M/CEO of the ‘Flying Antelopes’, Amobi Ezeaku Esq, he extended the club’s heartfelt thoughts to those affected by the incident.

Ezeaku expressed sadness but thanked God that no casualties were reported.

He added, ‘Our thoughts and prayers are with the Kano Pillars U-19 team. We pray for the quick recovery of the affected players and officials.’

He also charged club drivers to be cautious and professional when handling vehicles during travels to prevent such occurrences.
