Eric Chelle: Super Eagles going for fourth AFCON title in Morocco

Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle says his team will be going for their fourth Africa Cup of Nations title win at the 35th edition of the biennial competition which starts later this year in Morocco.

Chelle was in Morocco Monday when the draws for the competition was made with Nigeria drawn to play against Tunisia, Uganda and Tanzania in Group C.

Speaking after the tournament draw in Rabat on Monday night, the Malian tactician says his team’s motivation is fueled by a hunger for redemption.

‘Yes, it’s going to be difficult to win because there are 24 very good teams and some very good coaches.

‘I know I’ve got a team that’s out for revenge, and I’m out for revenge too, so we’re going to have a lot of fun.’

‘We know what this team is capable of, and our goal is clear—to lift the trophy in Morocco,’ said Chelle.
