The countdown to GOtv Boxing Night 34 has boxers brimming with confidence and trading verbal jabs ahead of their Boxing Day showdowns at Tafawa Balewa Square, Lagos.

Sodiq ‘Happy Boy’ Adeleke, fresh off winning the Mojisola Ogunsanya Memorial Trophy for Best Boxer at GOtv Boxing Night 33, is determined to dethrone Durotimi ‘Tiny’ Agboola as national bantamweight champion. Adeleke insists his rise to the top is inevitable, while Agboola remains intent on defending his crown.

The night also promises a fiery international lightweight clash between Nigeria’s Rasheed ‘ID Buster’ Idowu and Ghana’s Nii Offei Dodoo. Idowu has vowed to uphold national pride, while Dodoo is equally resolute about leaving Lagos with a statement victory.
