‘No Release Clause in Osimhen’s Contract,’ says Galatasaray President Ozbek

Galatasaray president Dursun Ozbek has confirmed that star striker Victor Osimhen does not have a release clause in his contract with the Turkish champions.
Speaking to Fanatik, Ozbek dismissed speculation linking the Nigerian forward with Juventus and Bayern Munich, insisting that Osimhen’s deal contains no provision that would allow him to leave for a pre-arranged fee.
‘There is no release clause in Osimhen’s contract. He is an extremely successful footballer who will serve Galatasaray for many years,’ Ozbek said.
The Galatasaray chief added that while the €75 million fee paid to make Osimhen’s move permanent from Napoli in 2025 was considered high at the time, the striker’s current market value has risen significantly.
Osimhen, 27, initially joined Galatasaray on loan from Napoli in September 2024 before the deal was made permanent the following year. Since then, he has become a prolific scorer, netting 53 goals in 65 appearances across all competitions.
His contract with Galatasaray runs until June 2029, securing his long-term future at the club despite growing interest from Europe’s elite.
