Bernardo Silva Sets Record for Premier League Wins with Man City

Manchester City’s 1-0 victory over Burnley on Wednesday night marked a historic milestone for Bernardo Silva, who registered his 215th Premier League win to set a new club record.
The Portuguese midfielder moved ahead of David Silva, who had 214 victories, cementing his place as the player with the most league wins in City’s history.
Ederson is the only other player to surpass 200 wins for the club, with 205, while Kevin De Bruyne and Fernandinho follow with 197 each. Bernardo, who confirmed last week that he will leave at the end of the season, has now played 453 matches for City since joining in 2017, more than any other player in that period.
Of those appearances, 299 have come in the Premier League, with Bernardo winning an astonishing 72% of his games. His consistency has contributed to six league titles in eight seasons, alongside 19 major honours overall, making him City’s joint-most decorated player alongside De Bruyne and John Stones.
The Burnley match also saw Bernardo surpass club legend Mike Summerbee to move eighth in City’s all-time appearance list.
Guardiola hailed his captain as ‘deserving the best,’ underlining the midfielder’s transformation from playmaker to trusted leader.
A full celebration of Bernardo’s career at City is planned for the end of the season, but Wednesday’s record-breaking win added yet another chapter to his remarkable legacy.
