Galatasaray President Özbek Announces €5 Million Bonus After Derby Win

Galatasaray’s 3-0 victory over Fenerbahçe at Rams Park in the Süper Lig has sparked celebrations not only among fans but also within the squad, after club president Dursun Özbek confirmed a massive bonus for the players.

Speaking to GSTV after the derby, Özbek praised the team’s performance and the support of the fans.

‘We got a well-deserved win against Fenerbahçe. Galatasaray is walking on the path it believes in. One step away from the championship. We will do that and make our whole community and fans happy,’ he said.

He continued by lauding the atmosphere inside Rams Park: ‘I kiss the eyes of my players and technical staff. We had a good win. I send thanks to my fans. Such a fan does not exist anywhere in the world. They did not shut up for a minute, they supported the team.’

According to journalist Haluk Yürekli, Özbek announced a €5 million bonus for the squad following the derby triumph.
