NFF Confirms President Federation Cup Round of 64 Fixtures
Asaba to Host Grand Finale of Nigeria’s Oldest Football Competition

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has unveiled the fixtures for the men’s and women’s competitions of this year’s President Federation Cup, following a draw ceremony held at the NFF Secretariat in Abuja.
Speaking at the event, NFF General Secretary, Dr. Mohammed Sanusi, emphasized that the draw process was consistent with previous editions and highlighted that no team received a bye into the next round.
He assured participating clubs, officials, and stakeholders that the country’s oldest and most prestigious football competition would be conducted on a level playing field, with all regulations strictly enforced to ensure transparency and fairness.
Defending champions Kwara United were seeded at number one, while last year’s runners-up Abakaliki FC were placed at number 64.
As tradition dictates, the tournament will be played strictly on a knockout basis, promising drama and excitement from the very first round.
Dr. Sanusi also confirmed that Asaba, the capital of Delta State, will host the grand finale of this year’s competition.
