Saka Declares: ‘It Is Our Time’ After Arsenal’s Historic Premier League Title Triumph

Bukayo Saka’s reaction set the tone for Arsenal’s coronation as Premier League champions, their first title in 22 years.
After securing the league midweek, the Gunners were officially crowned on Saturday at Selhurst Park following their final game of the season.
‘When you are young you look at the players who are heroes and unstoppable, you don’t believe you can get there. Now I’m here, I am over the moon. This means everything to me and my family. We worked so hard for this. I am just so happy,’ Saka said.
He described the surreal moment of standing alongside teammate Jurrien Timber as the team prepared to lift the trophy.
‘We were standing there and I said to Timber, ‘We are literally standing in our dreams.’ It is so surreal,’ he added.
Saka also reflected on how the perception of Arsenal has changed with this triumph.
‘I know from school and the banter of what people said about Arsenal. There is no more jokes now, it is done. It is our time,’ he declared.
The victory marks Arsenal’s first league title since Arsène Wenger’s ‘Invincibles’ of 2004, closing a two-decade gap and ushering in a new era under Mikel Arteta.
