Olise Joins World’s Top Five as Market Value Soars

Transfermarkt has released its latest update of market values for 497 Bundesliga players, with French winger Michael Olise emerging as the league’s most valuable star.

Olise’s market value has risen by €10m to €150m, placing him among the top five most valuable players in the world.

Olise’s rise reflects an extraordinary season in which he delivered 52 goal contributions in 52 games, including decisive performances against Real Madrid and PSG in the Champions League.

‘Olise is now one of the top five most valuable players in the world,’ said Transfermarkt Market Value Coordinator Tobias Kröger. ‘His performances at the highest level underline his elite status.’

The update also saw significant gains for Aleksander Pavlović of Bayern Munich and RB Leipzig’s Yan Diomande, both climbing from €75m to €90m.

At Bayern, however, several stars experienced downgrades.

Jamal Musiala dropped €20m to €100m, partly due to lingering effects of a serious injury sustained at the FIFA Club World Cup. ‘Despite the downgrade, Musiala remains part of the elite group of players valued at €100m or more,’ Kröger explained.

Harry Kane, despite another prolific season, saw his value reduced by €5m to €60m due to age-related factors as he approaches 33.

‘Kane remains in his own category among players in his age group, with a market value still twice that of the next highest,’ Kröger noted.
