PSG Overtakes Rivals as World’s Most Valuable Squad

Paris Saint-Germain has claimed the crown as the most valuable squad in world football for the first time in its history.

According to Transfermarkt’s latest update, the French champions now boast a market value of €1.37 billion, a 13% increase following their Ligue 1 update.

Under Luis Enrique, PSG has enjoyed back-to-back Champions League triumphs, and their squad’s valuation reflects both their dominance and depth.

Manchester City, despite finishing runners-up to Arsenal in the Premier League, remain in second place with a valuation of €1.32 billion.

Arsenal, whose resurgence under Mikel Arteta has been one of the stories of the season, follows closely at €1.25 billion.

Real Madrid, once the leader in global squad value, has slipped to fourth after a €125 million drop in valuation during the LaLiga update, leaving them at €1.22 billion. Barcelona, meanwhile, saw a slight decrease of €15 million, holding fifth place at €1.17 billion.

Chelsea, despite enduring a turbulent season, remains the only other club valued above €1 billion, underscoring the Premier League’s financial muscle.

Bayern Munich leads the Bundesliga with a valuation of €958 million, while Inter Milan tops Serie A at €647 million. The Premier League’s dominance is further highlighted by the fact that 12 of its clubs feature in the top 20 most valuable squads worldwide.

Outside Europe’s traditional top five leagues, Sporting CP emerges as the highest-ranked club, sitting in 23rd place.
