Kano Pillars Confirm Departure of Eight Players
Sai Masu Gida Begin Squad Overhaul Ahead of New Season

Kano Pillars have officially announced the departure of eight players following the expiration of their contracts at the conclusion of the 2025/2026 football season.
In a statement, the club expressed gratitude to the departing stars, acknowledging their contributions and dedication during their time with the Sai Masu Gida.
‘On behalf of the management, technical crew, staff and supporters of Kano Pillars FC, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to each of them and wish them success in the next chapter of their respective careers.
‘Their efforts and services to the club will always be appreciated and they will remain valued members of the Kano Pillars FC family,’ the statement read.
Among those leaving are Muhammad Galadima, Ugochukwu Gabriel, Zahraddeen Bello, Williams Ayuba, Bernard Ovoke, Christian Izuchukwu, Sudais Ali Baba, and Aliyu Yakubu.
The club emphasized that while these players move on, their legacy remains part of the Kano Pillars story.
Preparations for the upcoming season are already underway, with management expected to announce reinforcements as the team looks to build a competitive squad for the 2026/27 campaign.
