Iheanacho Scores, Assists as Midtjylland Secure 2-2 Draw
FC Midtjylland staged a spirited comeback in their second pre-season training match, drawing 2-2 against Malmö FF at Eleda Stadium on Friday afternoon.
The Danish side began brightly with high pressure but fell behind early.
Malmö opened the scoring after 11 minutes and doubled their advantage through Adrian Skogmar’s strike just before the half-hour mark.
Despite Valdemar Byskov hitting the post, Midtjylland trailed 2-0 at halftime.
The second half saw Midtjylland push forward with determination.
Stanley Iheanacho came close to scoring before finally breaking through in the 69th minute, capitalising on a corner to slot the ball home and reduce the deficit.
Moments later, Iheanacho turned provider, setting up 20-year-old Senegalese forward Abdou Aziz. Aziz dribbled past the Malmö defence and calmly finished to level the score at 2-2.
