Marseille Interested in Chelsea Defender Tosin Adarabioyo
Olympique de Marseille are reportedly interested in signing Chelsea defender Tosin Adarabioyo before the close of the summer transfer window, with the 28-year-old’s future at Stamford Bridge increasingly uncertain.
According to Sky Sports, Marseille are among several clubs monitoring the former Fulham centre-back.
Adarabioyo has reportedly found himself on the periphery of Xabi Alonso’s Chelsea squad following another major recruitment drive by the London club, including the arrival of French international defender Maxence Lacroix from Crystal Palace.
The England defender was also absent from Chelsea’s squad for their final pre-season friendly against Real Sociedad ahead of the new Premier League campaign, further raising questions about his position in Alonso’s plans.
Marseille, however, face competition for his signature, with Benfica also understood to have registered an interest. Adarabioyo’s preferred destination remains unclear as clubs assess a potential move before the transfer window closes.
