AFCON 2027 Qualifier: Eagles Officials Hit Camp, Players Expected Tuesday Morning

The Super Eagles camp for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Madagascar officially opened on Monday with team officials led by head coach Eric Chelle arriving at the team’s Ikot-Ekpene nest.

Only officials are in camp at the moment, with all invited players expected to arrive on Tuesday morning in Uyo.

Team coordinator, Promise Efoghe, confirmed the development in the early hours of Tuesday.

According to him, three training sessions have been scheduled ahead of Friday’s clash, on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Nigeria will host Madagascar on Friday at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo.

Full house is expected by Tuesday evening as the three-time African champions begin final preparations for the crucial qualifier.
