Ademola Lookman to undergo fitness test ahead of AS Roma game

Ademola Lookman will undergo a test on the biceps femoris muscle injury that kept him out of his club, Atalanta’s 1-1 draw against Fiorentina at the Artemio Franchi on Monday.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the 25 year old is still not sure of playing when his club hosts Jose Mourinho’s AS Roma at the Stadio Atleti Azzurri d’Italia (Gewiss Stadium) in Bergamo on Monday.

The Nigerian, according to the newspaper is however setting his sigh on next Friday’s game against Ola Aina’s Torino at the Lo stadio Olimpico Grande Torino.

Last Monday’s miss was the Nigerian’s second in the Serie A so far this term after he was an unused substitute in Atalanat’s 2-1 away win at Bologna in January.

Lookman has scored 13 times in 28 appearances for Atalanta in his first season in the Serie A and he is third in the top scorer’s race behind Victor Osimhen (21 goals) and Inter Milan’s Lautaro Martinez (14 goals).
