Adeshina Named to 2024 Bowerman Women’s Mid-Indoor Watch List

Nigeria’s high jump record holder Temitope Adeshina been named to the 2024 Women’s Mid-Indoor Watch List for the prestigious Bowerman Award.

The list was announced Wednesday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
The Bowerman is an annual award given to the year’s best men’s and women’s student-athletes in American collegiate track and field.

It is named after former Oregon track and field and cross country coach Bill Bowerman and is administered by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches
Association (USTFCCCA).

Adeshina leads this year’s high jump list, clearing 1.96m at the Texas Tech Corky Classic to tie for No. 8 all-time collegiately. She is undefeated in all
three of her January competitions, adding heights of 1.90m and 1.83m.

Adeshina seems to have replaced Favour Ofili who was a regular namein the watchlist.
