Ahmed Musa promises more goals after marking NPFL return with a brace
Former Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa says fans should expect much more from him and Kano Pillars after scoring twice on his return to the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL on Sunday.
The 31-year-old scored twice and missed a penalty to lead Kano Pillars to their first win of the campaign since September 8, 2024, when they defeated Ikorodu City in their opening game of the 2024/25 season.
Musa took to his social media page to express his delight with his return, for the second time, to the club that launched him into international stardom in 2010.
The former Leicester City of England, CSKA Moscow of Russia and VVV-Venlo of Holland among others warned Kano Pllars rivals they should expect more of what Sunshine Stars got at the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium in Katsina on Sunday.
