Altay: ‘Galatasaray Should Sign Gift Orban’

Galatasaray have been urged to sign Nigerian striker Gift Orban as they look for a solution to their goalscoring problems in the absence of Victor Osimhen.
Galatasaray commentator Oğuz Altay believes Orban could be an ideal attacking partner for Osimhen, urging the Turkish champions to bring the Nigerian to Istanbul.
‘Take Orban from Amedspor as the second striker next to Osimhen,’ Altay said.
Altay praised Orban’s pace, finishing and ability to contribute in different areas of the game.
‘He is very fast, he takes on defenders and scores all kinds of goals. He volleys, heads, shoots from distance, places his shots and helps the team defensively. He is a good player,’ he said.
Orban has made a flying start to the season while on loan at Amedspor from Hoffenheim, scoring seven goals and providing two assists in six league appearances.
His loan agreement reportedly includes a conditional mandatory purchase option.
Galatasaray are currently dealing with Osimhen’s absence, with the Nigeria international recovering from a muscle injury that has kept him out of action.
