Arsenal backed by Supercomputer to end winless run at Porto, Saka eyes eighth goal involvelment

The Opta supercomputer has backed Arsenal to end their winless run at the Estadio do Dragao in Lisbon, Portugal when they take on Porto in a UEFA Champions
League round of 16 tie on Wednesday.

Arsenal have won their three matches at home against FC Porto in the UEFA Champions League but are winless in their three away games against them in the
competition.

The north London side have not reached the quarterfinals of the UEFA Champions League since the 2009-10 season when they defeated FC Porto by an aggregate 6
-2 scoreline in the round of 16.

The Gunners are tipped to win on their fourth visit to Porto in 53.6% of pre-match simulations against as Mikel Arteta’s men take to the field for a
Champions League knockout game for the first time in seven years.

Arsenal have a slight edge over FC Porto and have won three out of the last six matches played between the two teams, as opposed to FC Porto’s two victories.

In fact, Porto have won just one of their last 10 Champions League matches against English opposition, with that win coming against Chelsea in April 2021.

Arsenal will not only be banking on the prediction of the Supercomputer but also on their winger, Bukayo Saka whose three goals and four assists so far in
the competition are the most by any player so far this season, averaging a goal involvement every 48 minutes.

Saka has scored six goals and provided one assist in his first five Premier League games of the season for the Gunners, netting a brace each in his last two.

The 22 year old also scored and assisted in his last two Champions League games for Arsenal.
