Arsenal fans look up to Iwobi for help to stop Man City

Arsenal fans will be hoping old boy, Alex Iwobi can inspire Fulham to beat Man City Saturday and put the Premier League title race firmly in their hands.

Iwobi featured 149 times for Arsenal across all competitions with 100 of them coming in the Premier League where he scored 11 goals.

The Nigerian will likely be in action on Saturday when Man City visit the Craven Cottage and knows he can set his former side on the way to winning their first Premier League title in 20 years.

A draw or a win for Fulham will put the Gunners in-charge of their own destiny but Iwobi and Fulham’s records against the history-chasing Man City do not show a miracle happening at the Craven Cottage.

Iwobi has not won a game against the defending champion in 14 appearances across all competitions. He has also not scored against the Manchester-based side.

The Nigerian will feel it is not about victory on Saturday as a draw will be in Arsenal’s favour and he has drawn one of his last two appearances against the visitors and three overall in 12 Premier League games.

Fulham are also looking for their first win in 16 appearances against the Etihad giants having lost all 15 previous 15 across all competitions.
