Awoniyi seeking to add Palace to join Arsenal and Chelsea in goal record

Taiwo Awoniyi will be looking to add Crystal Palace as the third Premier League club he will either score or bag assist against in two consecutive seasons
when he files out for Nothingham Forest who visit Selhurst Park as guest of the Eagles on Saturday.

The Nigerian, who has scored thrice this season and provided two ssists in seven Premier League games so far this season has scored just once in the only
game he featured against the Eagles last season, netting the first goal of the 1-1 draw at Selhurst Park.

If he scores on Saturday, Crystal Palace would be the third team after Arsenal and Chelsea the 26 year old would score against in consecutive seasons.

He scored the only goal of the game when Forest defeated Arsenal at the City Ground last May before netting again in the 2-1 loss at the Emirates stadium in
their opening game of this season.

Awoniyi scored twice in his club’s 2-2 draw away at Chelsea last May and provided the assist that helped Forest win at Stamford Bridge last month.

The Super Eagle has netted 14 times in 38 games across all competitions for Forest since he joined last season with 13 of the goals scored in 34 Premier
League games.
