Bendel Insurance FC appoints Kennedy Boboye as Technical Manager
Bendel Insurance Football Club has announced the appointment of Coach Kennedy Boboye as the club’s new Technical Manager, effective immediately.
This strategic decision follows a mutual agreement between Coach Boboye and the club’s management, entrusting him with full responsibility for leading the technical department.
After a comprehensive evaluation process, the club found Coach Boboye to be the ideal candidate, citing his impressive credentials, proven track record, and extensive experience in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
Coach Boboye has been offered a substantive two-year contract, reflecting the club’s confidence in his ability to elevate team performance and drive long-term success.
The official unveiling ceremony for the Delta-born tactician is scheduled to take place in Benin City on Tuesday, October 14, 2025.
The management of Bendel Insurance FC is optimistic that this appointment will usher in a new era of improved performance and renewed ambition for the ongoing season.
Meanwhile, the Executive Chairman of the Edo State Sports Commission, Hon. Amadin Desmond Enabulele, has expressed appreciation to Coach Baldwin Bazuaye (MON), an Executive Director in the Commission, for stepping in as Interim Technical Manager following the suspension of Head Coach Greg Ikhenoba on Monday, October 6, 2025.
