Brazil Goalkeeper, Tainá: “We’re studying Super Falcons a lot”

Brazil women’s Olympic team goalkeeper Tainá says the team has studied the Super Falcons and their other two Group C foes a lot ahead of their opening game Thursday against Nigeria in Bordeaux.

With the habit of watching the games of other major teams on TV, Tainá says she knows the potential of each of the three teams that Brazil will face in the first phase of the tournament – against Nigeria, on the 25th, Japan (28th) and Spain (31st).

“We’re studying our opponents a lot. It’s game by game, point by point, all with a lot of preparation and work,’ said Tania who also revealed the team is ready for the game against Nigeria.

‘We are working very and off the field to play good matches and get the points we need to advance in the competition,’ she told the official website of the Brazil Football Federation.
