Brentford ready to splash €12m to sign Osayi-Samuel
Premier League outfit, Brentford are reportedly prepared to make a €12m transfer offer for Fenerbahce right-back Bright Osayi-Samuel.
According to Turkish news outlet, Aksam, the Nigerian who was named the best player in Super Eagles’ 1-0 win in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying game in Guinea Bissau is under contract until June 2025 with Fenerbahce.
The Turkish Super Lig side are however prepared to sell the defender for the right price this summer.
The Nigerian is reported to be seeking a return to England and has revealed that he misses playing over there.
He joined Fenerbahce on a €508,000 move from QPR in January 2021 and has gone onto become an important first team player.
In total he has one assist in 30 appearances in all competitions for the Istanbul giants this season.
The versatile right-back can also play as wingback and on the right or left of midfield. He has three international cap for Nigeria.
