Bukayo Saka seeks 85th Premier League win as confident Arsenal face West Ham

Bukayo Saka will be seeking to record his 85th Premier League win in 153 appearances when confident Arsenal host West Ham
in their final home game of 2023 at the Emirates stadium on Thursday.

Saka has won 84 times and lost in 39 others in the 152 matches he has featured for the Gunners in the Premier League since
he made his debut in the competition in January 2019.

It will also be his sixth win in eight appearances against the east Londoners who lost 12 of their 13 visists to Arsenal
in the competition.

The British-Nigerian has scored just once and provided two assists in seven appearances against the Hammers who are
without a clean sheet in their last 13 away league trips

David Moyes’ men will however file out on to the Emirates stadium pitch on the back of a clean sheet and an impressive 2-0
win against Manchester United, where their front three of Jarrod Bowen, Mohammed Kudus and Lucas Paqueta sparkled.

Arsenal will however bank on the fact that against no side have West Ham lost more Premier League games than they have against the Gunners (35).

Mikel Arteta’s Gunners are unbeaten in their last 12 home London derbies in the Premier League and they kept just one clean sheet in this run (2-0 v West Ham in December 2021).

A win for Arsenal will mean they end 2023 on top of the Premier League table.
