Chippa United won’t stop Nwabali tarnsfer either overseas or within South Africa
Chippa United owner Siviwe Mpengesi has confirmed there are transfer interests in Nigerian gaolkeeper, Stanley Nwabali and talks with overseas clubs.
Mpengesi told iDiski Times his club will also entertain Premier Soccer League clubs.
‘We are talking to a few clubs abroad. We also believe that he needs something better, especially after the performance that he showed at the Afcon.
‘You know, being number two, they were runner-ups, he was number two, second best goalkeeper of Afcon,’ the Chilli Boys owner continued.
‘So if the opportunity comes especially abroad, of course even if it comes locally and the offer is for him, it’s not even for us. If the offer for him is better then we are not going to hold on to him.’
