Cole Palmer makes Premier League history with four first half goals
Cole Palmer is the first player in Premier League history to score four goals in the first half of a Premier League game.
The English man netted all four goals in Chelsea’s 4-2 lead in the first first half of the game against Brighton at Stamford Bridge.
The Former Man City forward scored a nine minutes and 48 second hat-trick to equal the number of hat-tricks a player has scored for Chelsea in the history of the competiton.
He is now in the same company as Didier Drogba, Frank Lampard and Jimmy Floyd-Hasselbaink and he did it in only 39 appearances for the west London side.
He then added the fourth to make history of his own.
He has scored all 10 of his 10 penalties since joining Chelsea.
And the England forward has been involved in 35 club goals in 2024, with six goals and five assists this season showing that he is not a one-season wonder.
On Saturday, he has had the ball in the net four times, with one effort ruled out for offside and hit the post.
