De Bruyne Moves To Seventh In Premier League All-Time Assists List

Belgian midfielder Kevin De Bruyne moved up to joint seventh in the Premier League all-time assists list when he led

Manchester City to a 3-0 demolition of their host, Wolves at the Molineux on Saturday in a Matchweek eight fixture.

Erling Haaland feeds De Bruyne’s run into the penalty area on the right, the Belgian squares powerfully and Phil Foden

glances a cute finish into the far corner.

It was his sixth assist of the season, three ahead the quintet fellow Manchester City midfielder, Bernardo Silva,

Liverpool forward, Roberto Firmino, Gabriel Jesus of Arsenal, Leeds United’s Jack Harrison and Kenny Tete of Fulham.

The Belgian has now assisted 92 times in the competition to move to joint seventh with former Liverpool star and now Aston

Villa coach, Steven Gerrad.

De Bruyne has now been directly involved in 150 Premier League goals (58 goals, 92 assists) in just 217 appearances in the

competition.

The 31 year old with four goals, one assist has been directly involved in more Premier League goals at Molineux in 2022

than any other player (including Wolves’ players).
