Awoniyi targets first goal in first game against Ten Hag's side

Nigeria striker Emmnauel Dennis will be seeking to get his fifth goal involvement in four appearances against Manchester if he gets to play Tuesday evening at Old

Trafford for Nothingham Forest in their a matchweek 17 Premier League game.

Dennis scored once and bagged two assists when his former club, Watford mauled the Red Devils 4-1 at the Vicarage Road stadium in November 2021.

The Nigerian provided the assist for Joshua King to score the opening goal of the game on 28 minutes. He also bagged the assist for the third before putting the icing

on the cake of the 4-1 win in the sixth minute of added time.

Dennis scored his first goal against Man United in February 2020 when he netted for his Belgian club, Club Brugge in their 1-1 tie in a Europa League game.
The 25 year old has scored just once and bagged one assist in nine appearances for Forest since he joined from Watford in August.

Meanwhile, Dennis’ compatriot at the club, Taiwo Awoniyi will be aiming for his first away goal in the topflight in England.

The former Union Berlin of Germany forward has scored three times in 13 Premier League appearances in his first season in the competition and they have all come at the

City Ground, Forest’s home ground.

The Nigerian was the hero in October when Forest defeated Liverpool 1-0 at the City Ground. It was the Nigerian’s third goal of the campaign and has not scored since
then.
