Dennis seeks first win and first goal in three games vs Arsenal

Awoniyi targets fourth goal in 12 Premier League games

Nigeria forward Emmanuel Dennis will be seeking his first win in three appearances against Arsenal when he files out with Nothingham Forest at the Emirates stadium Sunday for a Premier League match week 14 fixture.

Dennis will also be seeking a return to action after he was left as an unused substitute in Forest’s last two Premier League games-the goalless draw at Brighton and the famous 1-0 defeat of Liverpool at the City Ground.

The 24 year old will also be looking to either score or provide his first assists against the Gunners. He has started just two of the seven appearances he has made for Forest since he joined them in the summer.

If he plays on Sunday, it will be his 41st in the competition after featuring 33 times for Watford last season and seven for Forest so far this term.

Meanwhile, Taiwo Awoniyi will egually be seeking to score his fourth goal in 12 appearances in his first season in the Premier League and hopes the goal can fetch the visitors all three points.

Awoniyi has scored all his three goals at home at the City Ground and two of them have fetched maximum points for Steve Coopers’ side.

If he scores on Sunday, it will move him up to joint 22nd in the Nigerian all-time top scorers’ list in the Premier League with Dickson Etuhu and Brown Ideye.
