D’Tigers in must-win game against Cape Verde

Nigeria’s D’Tigers must win Sunday against high riding Cape Verde to nurse any hope of playing in next year’s Afrobasketball championships after losing their first two games.

Coach of the team, Mohammed Abdulrahma says they cannot afford to go home empty handed and will give everything in their Group B game against the against high-flying Cape Verde who have won their first two games.

‘The biggest motivation is the high expectation from over two hundred million people back home that expect them not come here and 0-3. 1-2 is much better than 0-3,’ said Abdulrahman.
