Dynamic Athletics, KKF Partner To Boost Dynamic Koki Athletics Meet

Dynamic Athletics and KKF Legacy Society Nigeria have entered into a strategic partnership to attract international sponsorship, strengthen the commercial viability of the Dynamic Koki Athletics Meet and position the competition among Africa’s leading athletics events, beginning with its fourth edition scheduled for July 17, 2027.

The partnership, announced in Lagos on October 9, will focus on international partnerships, sponsorship development, fundraising and strategic stakeholder engagement as the organisers seek to position the competition among Africa’s leading athletics meets.

Dynamic Athletics, founded by Olabanji Ayegbusi, will retain ownership and technical leadership of the competition, including responsibility for planning, athlete recruitment and management, and event delivery.

KKF Legacy Society Nigeria, founded by Ambassador Dr. Rtn. Kirti Sudhanshu, will lead efforts to attract international partners and sponsors. Sudhanshu has also been appointed Chairperson of the Strategic Advisory Board and International Partnerships at Dynamic Athletics.

The collaboration builds on the first three editions of the meet and is designed to develop it into a sustainable sporting property capable of attracting elite athletes, providing structured opportunities for emerging talents and enhancing Nigeria’s standing in African and global athletics.

‘Our ambition is to build on the foundation of our first three editions and position the Dynamic Koki Athletics Meet as a leading meet in Africa,’ Ayegbusi, founder and chief executive officer of Dynamic Athletics, said.

‘Achieving this requires strategic partnerships, sustainable funding, and international engagement to create greater opportunities for athletes and long-term value for the athletics ecosystem.’

The media parley held on October 9 marked the beginning of formal engagement with the media, corporate sponsors, development institutions and other stakeholders ahead of the 2027 edition.

The fourth edition of the Dynamic Koki Athletics Meet is scheduled for July 17, 2027, while an official world press conference is planned for July 15. The venue will be announced after final confirmation.

Beyond athletics, the partnership seeks to promote Nigeria-India relations by encouraging engagement between Nigerians and the Indian business community through sports, commerce and shared development initiatives.

The organisers said the collaboration reflects the KKF ethos, ‘Kindness Knows No Frontiers,’ and invited prospective sponsors, corporate partners, development institutions and philanthropists to support the 2027 edition.
