Nigerian forward issues heartfelt Hornets message
Nigerian forward Emmanuel Dennis has penned a heartfelt message to Watford fans after he finally departed Watford.
The 24-year-old joins Premier League new boys Nottingham Forest on a four-year deal, with the Reds believed to have paid a fee in the region of £20 million for his services.
Speaking on Sunday, after the move was made official on Saturday night, Dennis issued a heartfelt message to fans at Vicarage Road.
“Thank you watford for everything,” Dennis posted on Instagram.
“I want to wish the club all the best for this season and the future.
“Forever in my heart.”
Emmanuel Dennis signed for Watford last summer after they returned to the top flight.
The Nigerian international joined a reported fee in the region of £3-4 million and went on to have an impressive campaign in his one and only season at Vicarage Road.
Despite Watford struggling, Dennis adapted to life in the Premier League just fine, scoring ten goals and registering six assists.
Dennis could be in line to get his Nottingham Forest debut next Saturday when the Reds travel away from home to face Everton.
