Fulham Face Sunderland Without Chukwueze as Iwobi Nears Milestone

Fulham will be without Samuel Chukwueze for their Premier League clash against Sunderland on Sunday, after Marco Silva confirmed the winger has picked up a minor calf injury.
Chukwueze, who has contributed three goals and four assists in 13 appearances this season, is expected to resume training next week.
Alex Iwobi, however, is available and set to make his 21st consecutive league start this season.
The former Arsenal midfielder is also on the verge of a significant career milestone, reaching 249 Premier League starts from 312 appearances since his debut in October 2015.
Despite facing Sunderland five times and winning four of those encounters, Iwobi is still chasing his first goal against the Black Cats.
Defender Calvin Bassey is also pushing for inclusion.
Fresh from his standout performances at AFCON 2025, where he earned a place in the Team of the Tournament, Bassey is eyeing only his second Premier League start since returning from international duty.
