Galatasaray Make Double Arsenal Approach for Nwaneri, Martinelli

Galatasaray have reportedly stepped up their transfer activity in England after making an official offer for Arsenal duo Ethan Nwaneri and Gabriel Martinelli.

According to Turkish outlet Haber Sarı Kırmızı, Galatasaray have opened negotiations with Arsenal over a potential double deal for the two attacking players as the Turkish champions continue to strengthen their squad.

The report, citing transfer journalist Haluk Yürekli, claims that Galatasaray have submitted an official offer to Arsenal for Nwaneri and Martinelli, with negotiations now underway between the two clubs.

Nwaneri, 19, is regarded as one of Arsenal’s promising young attacking players and has attracted interest from several Premier League clubs.

Galatasaray are now attempting to take him to Turkey as part of an ambitious recruitment drive.

Martinelli, meanwhile, would represent a significantly more established addition. The Brazil international has been an important attacking option for Arsenal since breaking into the first team and would bring considerable experience and pace to Galatasaray’s frontline.

The Turkish side are reportedly keen to complete both deals, although the nature and value of the offer made to Arsenal have not been disclosed.
